How do I subscribe to Extiva Communications' services?
You can subscribe for service by clicking here. For more information, please email sales@extiva.com.my

When can I start enjoying the services?
Get in touch with our sales personnel who will arrange for a Once we have received your completed registration forms, photocopies of your business registration certificates and your current 2 months latest phone bills, we will start the registration process. You will be able to start enjoying ExtiNet services in 5 working days.

Is there a minimum contract period?
Our customers stay with us to enjoy our quality services. They are not bound to us in any agreement, and there is no contract binding period at all.

What is the termination notice period required by customer to officially inform Extiva Communications?
Termination of service shall required 30 days prior with written notice.

What type of payment method do you accept?
We accept:

  1. Credit cards (Visa & Master) online. Bank charge applies for some products and services.
  2. Direct transaction of cash or cheque to our bank account

How many gateways are maintained by Extiva Communications?
Extiva Communications have interconnections with all five major local Telcos. The numerous access gateways subscribed from the Telcos are needed to maintain reliable backup and redundancy.

Who are Extiva Communications Telco partners behind the infrastructure setup?
Telekom Malaysia, TIME, Maxis, Celcom, Digi and etc.

ExtiNet

Is ExtiNet suitable for my company?
ExtiNet is offered to all corporations, SMIs and SMEs wishing to reduce their telephone bills on international, outstation and mobile calls.

Is ExtiNet compatible to my current telephone system?
Our system supports a full range of telephone and PABX system. Whether it is PABX, key phone, single line phone, mobile phone, PRI, BRI, or fax, you can enjoy our discounted call service.

Do I have to change my company's telephone numbers?
You can enjoy ExtiNet services without having to change your current telephone numbers.

What is the lead-time required by Extiva Communications to activate the service for one line upon receipt of application?
5 working days upon receipt of complete application forms

Do Extiva Communications provide value added services such as providing info of call usage, call billing and number of calls made?
Yes, this information is available in monthly itemized bills.

Is the itemized billing on the monthly bills chargeable?
Itemized billing service is free for all our valued customers.

Do Extiva Communications provide billing info to customers via email?
We do provide the billing or summary information to our customers, subject to the requirement.

Is there any other service charges customer has to pay for every line subscribed or any other rental charges for devices used e.g. auto-dialers?
No additional fee will be charged, customer will only need to pay for the call usage and stands to enjoy 5% tax waiver from the total billable usage.

Is there a limit to the number of lines we can subscribe for ExtiNet service?
You can subscribe for as many lines as you like. There is no limit.

What is the difference between local access number and toll-free number?
Local access numbers are 0x-xxxx xxxx. Toll-free numbers are 1800-xx-xxxx, which means calls accessing our gateway are free.

Does our phone system dial to Extiva Communications' local access number or a toll-free number?
All calls connected via our gateway are on Toll Free 1800 access number. This is mandate by regulatory body Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) with effective from August 2007.

Do Extiva Communications support both PSTN and ISDN-PRI lines?
Extiva Communications service seamlessly integrates with both types of fixed lines and infrastructure

Do Extiva Communications manage call routing to handles fail-over (redundancy) incident?
Yes, Extiva Communications programme at least 2 access numbers for all customers

Do Extiva Communications provide free call service for our many offices that have signed up for ExtiNet?
No, calls between offices are charged base on flat rates as quoted.

Are calls connected via VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) or via PSTN technology and TDM (time-division multiplexing)?
Our current infrastructure is in PSTN and TDM based. Hence voice quality is assured.

What are your other value added services provided on top of the call discount?

Can I enjoy ExtiNet services from anywhere in Malaysia?
Yes, you can enjoy ExtiNet services from anywhere in Malaysia, be it from fixed line or mobile lines.

How extensive is the support provided in Malaysia (nationwide including Sabah & Sarawak)?
Extiva Communications provide strong support nationwide including Sabah & Sarawak. Our proven support to major leading hypermart that have many branches throughout Malaysia is our greatest reference.

Can I enjoy the same service from mobile phones? If yes, how do I use ExtiNet from my mobile phone?
Yes, you can enjoy ExtiNet discounted call services from your mobile phones as well. To use ExtiNet service from your mobile phones, please follow the instructions below.

Your mobile phone number has to be registered with Extiva before you can start making the following SMS calls.

Select business card of the person you wanted to call.
or
Type a message in this format:
B<phone number you wanted to call>;
2. Send business card through SMS to:
012 - 280 1999 or
019 – 221 0099
3. Extiva Gateway calls you.
After you pick up the call, Extiva Gateway calls the other party.
You can start your conversation after the other party picks up the call.

Can I use ExtiNet from overseas?
Yes, you can use ExtiNet services from overseas. Please follow the instructions below.

Make SMS calls in overseas to anywhere in the world
The objective of using this service is to reduce your roaming charges while you are overseas. Therefore, you have to direct calls to be picked up from another phone in the country of your travel whether it is a fixed line or a mobile line.
1. Compose a SMS in the following format:
A<xxxxxxxxxxx> <space>B<zzzzzzzzzz>

*   <xxxxxxxxxx> is the phone number that you want to pick up your calls from (in the country of your travel).
** <zzzzzzzzzzz> is the phone number that you want to call to.
2. Send business card through SMS to:
012 - 280 1999 or
019 – 221 0099
3. Extiva Gateway calls you at your <xxxxxxxxxx> number.
After you pick up the call, Extiva Gateway calls the other party at the <zzzzzzzzzzz> number.
You can start your conversation after the other party picks up the call.

ExtiSIP

Is ExtiSIP suitable for my company?
ExtiSIP service is most suitable for corporations with branches and/ or subsidiaries, either in Malaysia or overseas. This service can be deployed anywhere in the world. Calls made between branches and/ or subsidiaries are FREE (a minimal monthly subscription fee applies).

Is Internet access a requirement?
Yes, Internet access is mandatory for any ExtiSIP users.

Do I have to change my company's telephone number?
You do not have to change your current telephone numbers. However, you have a choice of subscribing for additional local DID numbers of prefix 03, 04, or 05 with a minimal monthly subscription fee.
